Creepypasta - 7 Minutes in Heaven
The movement that had lulled you to sleep stopped with a groan on the breaks. Your eyes squeezed, not wanting to face the fluorescent lights on the inside of the bus, instead content to keep your face pressed against the cool surface of the window. You grab the hem on your jacket, tugging it tighter around your body."Last stop, kid." You stir at that, sitting up and looking up to the bus driver. His wiry hair fluffed out from under his cap as he turned to face you. It clicked in your head."I missed my stop?" Shit, maybe you shouldn't have napped on the way home after all.He shrugged, "Sorry. I gotta let the last stragglers off here."You bite your lip and grab your bag. "Okay, thank you." You say, before stepping off of the bus. The night air was cool, a breeze catching the ends of your hair as the doors close and the bus drives off in the night. You check your phone. 12:15.Directly in front of you was the woods that surrounded your neighborhood. At least, you think it was. Down a ways you could see the beginnings of a paved walking trail creep into the trees. You crouch and rifle through your bag a bit, sliding out a can of pepper spray. Feeling safely equipped, you start on the path.Moonlight filters through the trees. Ahead of you, you could see a few deer hesitantly cross the trail before treading into the trees. The paving was old and worn, deep cracks running through the stone and letting dandelions and grass creep up. The only light you had was from the full moon. Some horrible noise snarled at you from the trees and you freeze, hairs pricking up on your neck and arms. It slows into a low growl. Something, a branch maybe, snaps. You whip around only to see the underbrush shiver as something moves under it.Terrified, you turn and face the disturbance with your whole body, and begin to back away. You have no idea what it is. The bushes shake more, and another snarl rings out before you hear a loud squeak! and all the noise and shaking stops. You wait for a beat. After a few moments, a large paw pokes out from in between the shrubs, quickly followed by a large fluffy body. A white and black dog, looks like a husky, with a bloody squirrel in its mouth. Red smudged into its muzzle and paws. It spots you and stares.Almost immediately feeling at ease at the fact that all that growling was not directed at you, you deflate with a sigh. The dog perks at this, dropping the gory squirrel and coming closer to sniff at you."Aah," you take a step back as its muzzle sniffs into the palm of your hand and up your wrist. Something rumbling in its body. Was this dog feral? It stops by your inner elbow and licks your arm before rubbing its head into your stomach. You hesitate a bit before giving in and scratching it behind its ears. "Okay, so you're nice?" You kneel and scrape your fingers under its ears, watching as its eyes closed contentedly. "Good dog. Good . . ." You peeked at the tag on it's collar, "Smile? Ah well, sometimes people are weird." She licks your nose and you smile. You stand up and are about to keep walking on the trail before she plants herself firmly against your leg and tugs at your sleeve. "What is it?" She gently nudges you off the pavement and tugs at your shirt again, before trotting over to the trees and looking at you expectantly."You want me to follow you or something?" Her tail wags. You fiddle with the pepper spray in your hand before sucking it up and stepping off of the trail, the pup's tail wagging excitedly before she bounds in a circle around you and takes off into the underbrush. You break into a jog.Smile was fast. She leaps over fallen trunks and foliage with ease, as if she lived in these woods, while you stumble along after her. Thorns snag against your shirt and leaves tangle into your hair, but overall, the feeling of the sprint you fall into was invigorating. Your heart pounds with your footsteps, crunching through the fallen matter on the ground as the chilly wind whips past your face and hair. At some point you start grinning, taking bursts of speed to leap over the trees like the dog you frantically follow. A sort of freedom, you felt like you were flying. All too soon the trees thin before breaking into a clearing. You almost trip over poor Smile, who was sitting in front of an old, broken down manor and panting, looking up at you with happy expectant eyes. You gaze up at the old house, lights on and the silhouettes of people moving behind the windows, walls rattling with music. A party? This dog took you to a party?"Alright I didn't think it would be too obvious that I'm a hermit, but really? Even you think I should be around people?" Smile just wags her tail. You shake your head. She gets excited when you start to walk up to the front door, dancing around your feet with little huffy dog noises. She stops her prancing and sits next to you patiently when you ring the doorbell, not really expecting it to work. Sure enough though, you hear the ring echo through the house and over the boom of the music you hear the stomping of frantic footsteps. The door whips open, so fast you flinch back, and Smile barks. The man standing in front of you has dark hair pulled into a messy ponytail, with dark circles under his eyes and a black medical mask covering his face. He doesn't seem to see you at first."Hey girl! Who's a good girl, coming back home on her own?" He immediately dips down and goes to scratch all down Smile's neck, her tail wagging a hundred miles per hour. It's honestly an adorable sight for the moment you catch it, before he realizes you're there. He stops and stares up at you, looking like he's buffering until you give a small "hello" and a wave. He bolts up straight and leans an arm against the door jamb, suddenly almost half a foot taller than you. Oh boy."Oh hey, I didn't see you there. Sorry 'bout that." He's got a bit of a smoulder in his eye now, and you feel awkward."I- uhh, yeah. She dragged me here," you mumble, gesturing vaguely to the dog staring at you. The man claps a hand on her head and ruffles her ears around."Well, welcome to my party! I'm Jeff," he thrusts a hand out, and you reach out to shake it only for him to snatch it and drag you inside the house. Smile trots in behind you two before disappearing off into the house. He drags you up next to him and slides a hand down to your lower back, flaunting the interior of the manor before you with his other. It wasn't just 'nothing' either. You stared wide-eyed at the crystal chandelier, with black flickering candles, down to the beautiful dark wooden columns. The floors were a natural aged wood, with intricately woven carpets perfectly placed where people seemed to linger; the walls adorned with a surprisingly lovely wallpaper to add a splash of color to the gothic room. You were so caught up in all the details, you didn't even realize Jeff was talking. Now he was looking at you expectantly."Umm, sorry, I was so enamored with the room. Could you repeat that?"The house seems to beam, a warm fuzzy feeling filling up the room. As if it appreciates the compliment. Jeff chuckles at you, "Well at that case, I should definitely give you a grand tour." He's about to drag you to the grand staircase in the middle of the room when two women stop him in his tracks. The one with darker skin speaks up first, "Leave them alone for now Jeff. They just got here." The other one with the pale mask not-so-gently peels his arm off you.He clearly wants to retort, but one glance at your pleasantly confused form seems to stop him. "Fine," he grumbles out, "I'll leave you to it then." Before stalking away to a side room. Both women shake their heads. The masked one speaks first. "Sorry about him, he doesn't know nor care when people aren't interested." Her voice is lilting and melodic, and you find yourself drawn in. "I'm Jane, and this is Natalie.""Just call me Nat please," she waves her hand with a quirky smile. You smile, feeling much more comfortable with these two. "I'm (y/n).""What a pretty name." You flush just a bit.Natalie grins. "If you want, you can wander around a bit. This place is bigger than you think. Just try not to get too lost. And holler if Jeff starts bothering you again. You laugh, "No problem." Then the girls leave. You stand awkwardly in the foyer, before you notice a bowl on a small table in front of the stairs. You walk up to it and see a small sign. "Drop an item for entry." Entry to the house? You slide the solid black ring off of your finger and drop it into the bowl. A strange feeling of finality falls over you like a wave, like you've committed to something you aren't prepared for yet.Well that was weird.Where do you want to go?
You find yourself back in the foyer, but this time there’s so many people. Different faces, most you assume to be costume, many masks as well. You feel out of place. You don't belong at this party.Everyone surrounds the bowl at the center of the room. The same one you dropped your ring into. You wonder if it’s still in there, surely it wouldn’t be a problem to search through it? So you reach in . . .But you don’t pull out your ring.
You don't know where you want to go. The manor is . . . Well, huge. You would have no idea where anything is. If only you could get a tour or something.Tour . . .Maybe Jeff is still around here somewhere. You tail to the right, where you saw him stalk off and end up in a wide hallway, with towering paned windows and thick red curtains. Moonlight streams in through the fabric and sends wavy shadows along the dark wooden floors. You hear the clatter of bottles and turn to see what you think is the kitchen. Someone walks out with a handful of empty bottles and bypasses you, and as he clears the doorway, you see a familiar black t-shirt and white hoodie. He’s talking animatedly to someone leaning on the kitchen island next to him, both backs turned to the door. The other man is . . . huge. Tall, with broad shoulders, strong arms holding him on the counter top. He turns towards Jeff, and you can see a sliver of something also obscuring his face. Is this some kind of a costume party? You awkwardly creep into the kitchen, wanting to talk to Jeff but also not wanting to interrupt his conversation with his friend. Luckily, you don't have to interrupt much. As soon as your feet touch the linoleum floor, the man turns to face you. His face is obscured by a clean white mask, with deep black pools for eyes, messy dark hair fluffing up over the top of it. He bumps his elbow into Jeff's side, who startles and stops talking to turn. The man holds a dark hand up in a small wave. "Hey," his voice is smooth and low.Jeff however, immediately dips low, elbows on the counter, and you can almost hear the grin that he's hiding under that mask. "So those two didn't chase you off huh?" The tall man clears his throat and Jeff glances at him. "Oh yeah," he nods his head his direction, "this is Jack. Jack this is . . . Uhh . ."Jack's shoulders shake with laughter, "You mean you didn't even get their name? All that talk and-" Jeff smacks a hand on his stomach. All that talk huh? You feel your ears heat up. "It's okay. I'm (y/n), nice to meet you."Jack stands still for a beat, tilting his head ever so slightly. Then he bows his head to you, "Likewise.""Alright alright," Jeff waves his hand around before rising to his full height. “So lemme guess, you wanna take me up on my grand tour.”You smile at him. “Yeah. I couldn’t figure out what to do or where to go, so,”Jeff sweeps around the counter and sidles up next to you, nice and cozy, hovering a hand around you almost hesitantly. “Not a problem at all! And Jack,” at the mention of his name, the man perks up, “would be okay for a bit on his own?”Jack snorts. “Not likely.” He comes up to your other side, towering over the two of you calmly. You don't know if you feel comforted or intimidated. Either way, you’re kinda glad you’re not gonna be alone with Jeff. Jeff, however, seems to cut him a small glare before resigning to your new tag-along with half hearted grace.“Well then,” he steers your ragtag group back through the door, “on with the tour.”-By the time the three of you have made your round through the first floor and up a staircase to the second, Jeff has noticeably perked up. He speaks more animatedly, gesturing grandly to certain rooms as he goes off about stories that you would bet money that he made up just then. The more time you spend with him, it becomes increasingly obvious that he may be into you. And you don’t quite know how to feel about that. His arm seems to naturally drape across your shoulders as you two walk; chest puffing up with masculine pride as he boasts and flatters himself. It’s almost comical, but you can’t read so harshly into it as to have a bad time. You find yourself genuinely enjoying the company and attention, laughing and joking along with him. It doesn’t take long for the tour to basically just become walking around the house and talking with him.As Jeff drags you down, Jack has taken a backseat, feeling more like a chaperone to the two of you. There to make sure nothing too crazy happens. He’s a quiet guy. Rather than being unnerving though, it’s a silent comfort. While you doubt that Jeff would try anything concerning, you know for sure he won’t with Jack lingering just a few paces behind you two. Every once in a while, the two of you would try to get him more involved with the conversation, and while he sometimes relents and talks for a bit, he seems mostly content just to watch you two. You suppose he’s more introverted. Jeff says that he’s just uncomfortable speaking and prefers to listen anyways. Who are you to judge? The three of you eventually make it outside. The night air is crisp and cold, the moon full. You gaze up at it for a moment, letting the light fill your vision. How pretty . . .“Around back here there’s a bonfire. At least there should be, hopefully Tim got it going,” Jeff rubs his hands together, trying to stave off the chill in the air. He scoops your hand up in his, to your surprise, and half drags you around the side of the building. He stuffs his other hand in his pocket. Jack ambles along behind you two, his long legs easily keeping pace. Sure enough, as you all round the wall, you see the warm amber glow of a fire, a couple people standing around it.Jeff hesitates at it, fidgeting with the mask over his mouth. His shoulders are tensed, and you can feel a small tremor in his hand as he watches the flames lick up to the stars.Odd. “Jeff?” you saying his name makes him jump, head swiveling around to meet your gaze. “Are you okay? You got all tense.”He looks at you dumbly for a beat before rebooting back to that abrasively charming attitude he put up. Now it feels more like a facade to you, a mask, and you watched it slip just then.He waves his hand at you, “Yeah, yeah I’m fine, it's just . . .” he looks around lost before his eyes fall on Jack. “Cold. It’s just colder than I was expecting.” And like nothing ever changed, he slides up against your side, an arm around your back, “It’s not too cold for you is it?” His tone is teasing and you feel your face heat.“No, no I’m fine,” there’s laughter in your voice, and while the breeze makes your skin crawl, he’s warm enough that it’s not a problem.Satisfied with your answer, he leads you over to the people standing by the fire. Three people, and one of them is familiar.Natalie’s head turns to watch the three of you approach with a small smile. You didn’t notice it before, but she has a patch over her eye. It’s mostly covered by her braids, which seem to fall every which way over her head.“Oh no,” Jeff mutters, catching the other two’s attention as well, “Don’t tell me I’m gonna have to hang onto this one again.”Nat grins wide, pretty white smile catching the light against her skin. “Nah, you’re good for now at least.” Then she turns to you, “This guy bothering you?”You giggle, “No, he’s shown me around the place okay.”She smiles at that, then looks up at Jack, “How about you big guy?” He gives her a thumbs up.Jeff rolls his eyes half heartedly and turns to address the other two, “Brian. Kate.”The man, Brian, nods his head in greeting to Jeff. A sort of man-to-man communication. Kate, however, just glares at him. “Are you gonna be an ass, or can we stay here without too much harassment?”Jeff’s eyes smile at her almost cattishly. “For now you two are safe.”“Thank fuck,” she mutters under her breath, before the two resume their conversation.Natalie draws your attention, “For real, if ya need me to kick his ass for you just lemme know.” You laugh, almost immediately feeling comfortable with her. Something catches her attention, and you turn to see Jack signing something to her. She watches, a small bit of concern crossing her features before nodding to him. Then she turns back to you and smiles, snatching Jeff’s free arm.“Wha-?”“I’m gonna steal him for a bit. Be right back!” And then she’s dragging him off, him protesting and looking back over his shoulder at you.You stand in the cold, with Jack hovering behind you. You turn to face him, “You sign?”He nods, “Sometimes.” You hum in reply. He glances over to see Kate and Brian still talking to each other. Then he looks down at you, “I need to talk to you for a moment.” His voice is low and soft, and he holds a hand out. He’s wearing gloves, but his fingers seem to come to points under the material, “May I?”Cautiously, you nod and take his hand. He leads you a small distance from the fire pit, still in sight of the pair, but definitely out of earshot. “Do you know what you got yourself into?”You look up at him, hand warm in his. “With Jeff or?”“With being here. You are not like us, and it’s a good thing he hasn’t noticed yet.” You quirk a brow at that, face twisting in slow bewilderment.Jack makes a small clicking hum and tries again. “Jeff hates fire. He was burned at a young age. He has an aversion to it now, but he can still be near it.” That explains the way he tensed up at the sight of it at least. You look up at him, “How did that happen? How young was he?”“It was at a neighbor’s house. I had no need for him to tell me more.” He meets your gaze and the seemingly bottomless pits in his mask bore into you, making your stomach flip. It’s almost like he . . .“It happened when he killed his parents.”Ice drips down your back, the tell tale pinpricks of horror starting at the back of your neck. “The flesh on his chest and arms is still disfigured from the fire. He had a brother that got out in time. But they never found the bodies of his mother or father.”“What-”
“Natalie did the same. Abusive family, took matters into her own hands, for self defense.” His hand shifts and you feel the tips of claws rest against your skin. You feel sick to your stomach. There was no way.“Everyone under this roof has committed some sort of atrocity that condemns them here. You don’t belong here.” Despite the chilling words he’s telling you, his voice is calm and almost soothing. This isn’t a threat, it’s a warning.Your eyes are watering and you’re shaking, but you can still speak. “What did you do then Jack?”His overly warm hand leaves yours and instead he pels the glove of, revealing skin so dark it's almost black. Long sharp claws tip off his fingers, the same claws that he pressed against your palm. He raises those weapons to his mask and slowly peels it up and off. The dark skin on his chin is split, a fine line dividing his lower face into two, lips parted to reveal large, pointed, sharp teeth. You can’t breath. He smiles softly at you. “You tell me.”The baritone of his voice rumbles in his throat like a purr as you freeze up in a panic in front of him. He slides the mask back down and takes your hand in his, kneading his thumbs against your palm. “I’m telling you this so you’re aware. No one else will find out, unless you panic.” Despite yourself, the small massage is calming you down. His voice is getting ragged. “Your best bet is getting through the rest of the night and forgetting it after. I’ll make sure you get home safe. And if you tell someone,”Another bolt of panic shoots up your spine. No god, you wouldn’t do that, you didn’t want to face the wrath of this monster. You frantically shake your head, “No telling, no telling got it I got it.”He purrs in acknowledgement. “Good. Now let’s go back and find him.”You nod as he takes your hand again, gently, leading you back to the bonfire. Kate and Brian are gone, and you feel another skip of panic in your stomach.“After all, we still have a game to play.”
CW: Drug UseYou hesitate at the bottom of the stairwell for a moment before steeling yourself and stepping up. The old wood creaked softly under your feet as you took slow, easy steps upwards, hand gliding across the smooth rail. You let your eyes trail up as you climb, up to the old crystal chandelier that sparkled brightly. It sent circles of light along the walls, peppering the deep green wallpaper in the way that sunrays dapple the leaves on trees. You hear a pounding of footsteps behind you and a pungent yet familiar smell drifts up to your nose. Turning around you come face to chest with two bags of chips and a lighter. They skid to a stop in front of you, and you look up to see a young man with messy dark brown hair tucked under a beanie. He glances down at you with a lazy smile."Sorry, didn't mean to startle ya," he has a drawl to his voice that disarms you, and you smile at him, stepping against the rail."No, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to take up the staircase.""You just get here?" He shuffles the bags in his arms, "I don't think I've seen ya before.""No, I guess I'm new," you extend your hand out, "(y/n). Nice to meet you."His tanned hand grasps yours firmly and shakes it up and down, rattling your shoulder a bit. "Cody. If ya want, you can come chill up here with us." He drops your hand and jostles the two bags, as if to say that they are the 'us' he's talking about. "We're not hot on large crowds."The music makes the wall against your back buzz. It's not too loud, but you already miss the quiet from the woods just beyond the front door. Besides, what else were you gonna do?You smile at him. "Sure, that sounds nice."He grins at you, cat-like, before scooping your hand back into his and practically dragging you up the stairs. He's wearing an old tank top, showing off a nice sleeve tattoo and strong lean arms. You study the ink lines running down his bicep. It kinda looks like one of those tribal kinds, but you can't tell with the way his body sways as he runs up the stairs. The two of you make it to the top and he immediately makes a sharp right and starts dragging you down the hall. Ever entranced by the intricacies of this house, you attempt to read off the nameplates on the doors, making out only a few names in a blur before he makes another turn and opens a door. That smell that hovers around him immediately punches you in the face and all at once you recognize it. It's weed. Oh god you penned yourself in with the stoners. Before you can see what's happening in the room, Cody launches the two bags of chips over a couch in the middle of the room. You can see the backs of the two heads that get hit, one of them with curly, lighter brown hair, the other a messy strawberry blond. Only the blond yells out when hit."Really? Dude-""I'm not sorry. I brought a plus one.""Oh no," the blond tosses his head forward while the other one whips around, eyes wide and excited as he looks back at you."New p- new person?" He cocks his head abruptly, smiling sweetly at you through the bandage on the corner of his mouth. He juts his hand out. "I'm Toby. Anti-social down there is Ben."Ben smacks his shoulder, "Don't be rude," before turning around and propping his head on the top of the couch cushion. He squints his eyes at you suspiciously. Then he points a finger at you. "We're not supposed to be smoking. No snitching."You get the feeling he doesn't like you very much. "Yes sir," you fuss with the hem of your shirt. Toby laughs at that, ruffling Ben's hair as he uses him for leverage to turn back around."Sir? Ha! This brat doesn't get that kind of flattery yet 'til he stops cheating!" Cody swings himself over the back of the couch and lands on an empty cushion as Ben shoves Toby's hands away with a faint laugh. As Cody rips into one of the bags of chips, Toby glances back to your awkward form still standing by the door. His brown eyes glimmer. "You wanna come sit? We don't bite."You smile nervously as Cody barks out a laugh before stuffing some chips into his mouth. Ben simply shakes his head and mashes a couple buttons on his controller. You shuffle around to the side of the couch and Toby eagerly slides over, squishing Ben and Cody to the side to make room for you. He beams at you, and pats the newly formed space, and you huff out a small laugh. This could be fine, you think to yourself, as you gingerly sit down. You watch as Ben flicks between menus on a fighting game before passing Cody a spare controller. "Toby lost the last round so you're up." Cody takes the controller, sucking nacho cheese powder off of his fingers as he picks a character and they start the match. You're almost immediately lost as the two semi-familiar characters on the screen launch into a flurry of combos. One goes flying off the left side of the screen and explodes into a spark of color, a digital audience cheering as you glance between the boys and the screen, trying to figure out who lost the life. Completely lost.Toby pops his knuckles and drags his eyes from the tv to grin at you. "So what's a no- normie like you doing here?""Oh, you know," you trail off, realizing just how silly it sounds how you got here, " . . . A dog. A dog brought me here."Toby gives you a quizzical look, jerking his shoulder, while Cody laughs and Ben quirks a brow. "What the what?" He mutters, tapping a couple buttons and the same character loses another life."Oh, do you mean Smile?" Toby asks you as Cody takes a deep long sigh. You think back to Jeff scratching all down her neck as her tail went in circles. Such a good pup. "Yeah, the husky. Who does she belong to?""Dunno to be honest," Cody shrugs, "Jeff says she's his, but if I remember correctly, it was either you," he elbows Ben, who bumps him back, "or Silver who found her. And we all take care of her, so who really knows now."You hear another spike of digital applause and look to see the match has ended. Ben grins and wiggles victoriously in his seat while Cody slumps over and passes the controller to Toby. Toby, in turn, passes the controller to you. You pick it up gingerly and look at all the buttons. "I've, uhh, never played before."You hear the small flick of a lighter and the smell of fresh smoke fills the air. "It's not that hard really," Cody breathes out around the joint, before passing it over. Ben selects a character and takes it, passing it over to Toby without taking a hit. Toby takes a long drag, blowing the musky smoke out through his nose before offering it to you. You juggle the controller in your hands and take the blunt, holding it between two fingers delicately. "You can honestly just button mash until you figure it out. No one's beaten him yet anyway." Cody ruffles the blond's hair, who bats his hands away. You eyeball the joint before shrugging your shoulders and taking a hit. Might as well right? Except the smoke burns down your throat and sits heavy in your chest. You gag, choking on a coughing fit as Toby grins at you and puts a hand on your back. You hear a bark of laughter next to you and you turn, thinking it's Cody laughing at you. Instead, you’re surprised to see Ben doubled over on the couch. Cody instead is barely laughing, more at him than you, while shaking his head. “Think the edibles finally kicked in,” he mutters as the blond attempts to regain his composure. After a few tries he can sit up and hold the controller without shaking. His face is red. “Fuck,” he mutters breathlessly before starting the match. Toby leans into you as you peer down at the controller, wiggling the joysticks and pressing buttons to figure out what they do. Your character punches the air a few times and hops, before you feel comfortable enough to try doing it facing Ben’s character.“So you can do different combo chains,” Toby points at the buttons, “like these t- two will deal more damage if you do them together and so on.” His head quirks towards you. You eyeball the buttons before looking at the tv and hitting the two together. Ben’s character takes a bit of damage and gets knocked back, a bit of satisfaction curling in your chest.“Try hitting those two again while jumping,” the blond pipes up. You do, and watch as your guy launches his off of the ground. Okay, so maybe this isn't too bad. You and him mostly just pop back and forth as they all give you tips, and you’re starting to feel good about playing. Or maybe the second hand smoke is getting to you. Either way, you’re still alive at least. At some point you’ve slumped half against Toby, all four of you lazy and relaxed from the drugs. Your dude's health is low, and Ben still has two lives left. You’re pretty sure you're gonna lose the match but hey, you learned the game and you think you did pretty good. You hit a string of random buttons when a flash of color fills the screen. There’s an animation of your guy doing a weird pose and then your opponent goes flying, blasting off of the screen with a loud pow! You freeze. What did you just do.Toby’s eyes go wide and Ben’s mouth drops. Cody was on his phone, “What just happened what did I miss what-”“Did you just final smash me?” Ben looks at you incredulously and Toby snorts back a sound. You’re still staring starstruck at the screen. “What’s a final smash?”Toby bursts out laughing, jostling you from your lounged position, and Cody beams at you. “Kick his ass man! Don’t let him recover!”Still dazed, you frantically start mashing buttons as Ben’s focus snaps back to the screen. Toby and Cody start cheering you on as you land one hit, two, three. But you’re still new at the game! With a dejected cry you watch as your character gets flung right at the screen, before pathetically sliding down and bursting into a plume of pixelated color. The announcer calls the game and you, Toby, and Cody all groan in frustrated disappointment. Ben, however, merely sighs in relief.“Dude how are you so good at this?” you turn to him baffled and he shrugs.“I got no life or somethin.”“Oh haha,” Toby pokes his nose, “You think you’re soooo clever. Bad Joke.”
Ben grins at him, “Great joke actually.”“What joke?” You’re confused.Cody stands up and stretches, popping his back. “Ben’s dead. Bad joke.”“Wait, dead how?” Now you’re really confused. Or high. Probably high. Toby looks at you quizzically.“Like . . . dead,” something weird flickers across his face, nose scrunching up, “Wait what was your name again?”Now it's your turn to give him a weird look. “(y/n)?”He sort of tenses up. “We,” he glances back at the other two, who are looking back at him. All of you are confused now, “We don’t know you, do we?”You cock your head at him, brain foggy with smoke. Cody’s face lights up first, eyes going wide, and then Ben puts the controller down. When he looks back up at you, his irises look different. His voice is level, steady, uncomfortably so, “(y/n) what do you do for a living.” It’s not a question. You’re suddenly very nervous.“I, uh,” you feel like no matter what you say will be a wrong answer, “I- I take some classes at a college, work part time on campus.” Your eyes dart back and forth between the three of them, all staring intently at you. “Why?” What happened to the happy stoner atmosphere?Cody’s mouth flattens into a line. He looks like he walked in on a friend arguing with their mother over dinner, awkward and severely uncomfortable. Ben is unreadable. Toby looks just as nervous as you.Ben stares down at the controller on the floor, pressing his palms together before facing you. He brings his hands up to his mouth, “We need to get you wasted.”“What??”Cody interjects, “I don’t think that's a good idea-”“Would you rather we tell them? Huh?” Ben whips around and snaps at him, before Cody shuffles his hands then finally gives. Toby sort of puts himself between you and the other two boys, eyeing them with suspicion. Then, on top of all that making your head spin, the door whips open.“Game’s starting,” and it shuts again before you can see who entered the room.“Fuck,” Cody’s runs his hands through his hair. “Okay. It’s fine, it's all fine. Who’s gonna find out anyway?”Ben stands up and, wow he’s small. “No one’s gonna find out,” he raises his hands nonchalantly, “Not if we keep our mouths shut.” He turns to you and Toby. “It’ll be fine, right Tobes?”Toby eyes him warily before nodding. Ben smiles, “Good. Now let's get this damn game over with.” The three of them usher you out of the room, Toby staying glued to your side. What just happened?

You decided a little self guided look around would do. The universe had apparently decided to tell you what an adventurous person you are tonight, so why would you get in its way? Especially considering this was likely going to be your one and only chance to explore a place like this. That being said, while the universal guides that may be were trying to tell you how adventurous you were, you knew for a fact you weren’t the most social of people. The idea of following Jeff had been squashed with the memory of him too comfortably touching you. Odd, awkward you. There was also the idea of tracking down Jane and Nat, but pretty girls were intimidating, no matter how nice they seemed. Not that passing judgment was a common trait of yours, but it never hurt to be careful.Walking down a random hall, you resisted the urge to trail your fingers on the dark wallpaper. Everything looked so well taken care of, which means with a space this large, that the cleaning crew was likely either just as large or worked long hours to diligently take care of all the surfaces one could see.Passing by dark, wooden doorways, you decide against opening any of them. This wasn’t a house showing after all, and you weren’t going to be caught snooping where you didn’t belong.Rounding a corner, you find two doors propped open. The lights on inside make this room doubly inviting when compared to the others. Peeking around the door frame, your jaw drops at the hoard of knowledge in front of you. A library. An absolutely massive one. Of course a manor like this had a library. You missed the quiet chill the woods had offered, but supposed the smell of books and a quiet indoor atmosphere would do for now. So you decided to walk in, looking around for whoever had turned the lights on in the first place while glancing at book titles on their spines to see if there were any you knew. While the lights were on, they were rather dim, but you still spotted a blue book with gold detail on the spine. It didn’t have a name displayed, but you had a habit of judging books by their covers until you got a peek inside. Slipping it off the shelf, you thumb it open and are a mixture of disappointed and confused. It wasn’t in english. The font was beautiful though, even if you didn’t recognize the letters on the page as any language you knew of. Not that you knew how to read many languages at all, but what was in front of you couldn’t be described as letters, and didn’t look like kanji or anything of the sort either. The characters swirled and flowed into each other in ways that made it hard to distinguish where one letter began and ended, though what you could only guess were the words were separated neatly.“Fan of Melisentia, are you?” You startle, shooting forward when a man speaks right over your shoulder, turning to look at him when you get an ample distance away. Looking him over, probably taking a bit longer than you should, if his smile is anything to go by. His dark clothing was all blacks and dark grays, complimenting his stark white hair that stuck out from under a black beanie. Of course you found the goth guy in the library. Where else would you find him.He looks you over himself for a moment, those red eyes almost looking like they were putting out light, but that would be ridiculous. Albino, maybe? That or they were contacts. His look screamed that of a vampire fanatic, but you didn’t see any fangs when he spoke again. “Bit of a heavy read, in my opinion. Especially for you.”You look down at the book in your hands again, quirking a brow in confusion. It was a relatively small book, you had definitely read bigger in your life. “You trying to say I can’t read… stranger?”He steps forward, a strange shit eating grin on his face as he moves. “Nothing of the sort, my apologies. I didn’t mean to assume anything. You just don’t look like the type to be into blood magic is all.”You glance down at the book in your hands, quirking a brow in your confusion. Blood magic? Didn’t that kind of stuff belong in like… a red book or something? Was he fucking with you? He had to be fucking with you, because you were certain blood magic was only a thing in movies. You look back up, but startle before you can say anything. He’s suddenly in your personal space, far too quickly, far too close. Backing up, you startle when you realize you had been backed into a table. “And my, where are my manners. My name is Dark, and if you may be so kind as to tell me yours… it might clear some things up, stranger.”Your eyes dart down, glancing to either side of you, looking for an escape from who you could now perceive was a very likely threat. Your flight response was not going to be effective though, as looking at both of your sides showed you that his hands were resting on the table. You were trapped. This left you with fight… but something about him made you second guess any physical means of escape. Something about him whispered lowly of strength and something else, something you didn’t understand. You could only surrender your name.“Y/N, huh?” You can’t tell if that’s good or bad. His tone doesn’t match his keeping you cornered against the table, calmly ruminating your name as it slipped off his tongue. “I didn’t think so. Thank you, for the confirmation.”You look back up at him, confused at his sudden shift in behavior, but you don’t get to ask him what all that garbage was about before someone speaks from the entrance door. “Save that shit for later, love birds! Game is starting!”You turn to look at who spoke, but find the doorway empty before you could spot them. Game? What kind of game had just saved you from the intense shake down you had just received, and why did it seem mandatory?“Well… No time to sneak you out, you delinquent. I guess I’ll just have to keep an eye on you and hope for the best.” He moves away from you, hands in his pockets as he gives you one last considering look before moving to the door. He must somehow notice your being frozen and waves a lazy hand over his shoulder. “We have a game to play, would hate to see you get dragged to it by somebody else.”You set the book down on the table, your hands shaking with nerves as you take a few stumbling steps after him before fixing yourself up to appear normal. You make it to the door, trying to catch up to Dark so that you don’t get lost on your way to wherever the game is supposed to be. “And if anyone asks,” Dark speaks lowly, his eyes locked on you from under his shaggy bangs. “You kill people for a living. You understand me?”You don’t get to give a denial or confirmation before he’s moving again, leaving you to follow wordlessly behind. What had you gotten yourself into?

You reach into the bowl, turning your head away and closing your eyes as your fingers brush over objects, most of them feeling smooth and cold. Just as your fingers move to close on one of them, a voice overpowers the room and makes you rip your hand away as if you’d been caught sneaking candy.“What is the meaning of this!?” You whip around to see.... well.... not a human. You had seen some odd people in the room, but nothing compared to them. Three of them, to be exact. Tall, pale and mostly faceless if you discounted one. “I leave you alone for a day and you throw a party!?”Oh… they were tall….You shuffle back against the table a bit in fear. You could excuse the odd behavior and appearance of the people here, but the beings in front of you were very real and very not human. You suddenly weren’t so sure about anyone else in the room either. You swear you feel eyes on you as you stare up at the faceless entity, your mind suddenly didn’t feel so safe. Your thoughts didn’t feel so private. You’re saved from a possible heart attack, however, by one of the other tall men speaking up. “Now, they are young adults, and young ones will be young ones. I’m not offended in the slightest. I mean, they didn’t even know we were coming. Cut them some slack this time?” (edited)
[9:15 PM]
“Yeah, Slender, give them a break. Besides, we can get back at them by making it awkward. Looks like seven minutes in heaven. That’ll teach ‘em.” The other speaks up, talking as if the others in the room couldn’t hear him, his sharp grin splitting even further as he leans against the door frame. It was a rather tall door frame, and now that you had been made aware of why the frame was so tall, it made a little more sense that a mansion like this would be in the woods.Who were you kidding, none of this made sense. You’d be lucky to make it back home alive. You felt that odd pressure in your head for a moment longer, your eyes darting around the room for any possible reason to escape here and now. You find nothing but the other people in the room with you, all frozen and waiting for a decision to be made regarding the status of the party. You see the other two beings heads tilt at the same time, the one with eyes’ gaze darting towards you before the faceless one spoke. “Alright, fine. You may.... continue. I expect this place cleaner than it was before when all is done.”With that the room let out a collective sigh, you with them as the pressure in your head subsided. The being with a sharp smile did a little fist pump before something snaked out from behind him and stretched across the room. It passed you and grabbed at the bowl of objects, carrying it over to the trio as they all tossed objects in, the bowl hidden behind them and keeping which objects they threw in a secret. (edited)
[9:15 PM]
You startle as the bowl heads back your way, the same way it left the table. The tendril odd to look at, and you weren’t sure if you wanted to deal with those up close and personally, but the possibility was a very real one considering they were all in the pot now.“Well... its still your turn. If you still want to play, that is?” Your eyes shoot to Jane as she speaks, and you nod your head hesitantly before reaching towards the bowl. It was best not to back out, you didn’t know what you were dealing with anymore. You just hoped you got a normal person from a normal object and you could go home to your warm comfy bed after all of this was over.Fate sure is funny though, because you reach your hand in and pull out....

…A bracelet. It was a rather colorful one at that. It looked hand woven and the design didn’t look easy, but you were a poor judge of woven bracelets and their difficulty in design as you weren’t an expert in such fields. For all you knew it could have been an easily made bracelet, but you knew damn well you couldn’t recreate it if you tried.“Oh, that’s mine!” You turned to look at one of the tall beings in the doorway. The one with a smile. He seemed friendly enough. It could always be worse, you supposed, glancing around the room quickly and reminding yourself to watch your reactions to things. These people thought you belonged here. These people think these beings are perfectly normal to be around, and that means you needed to act like that too.You manage to put some pep in your step as you walk over to the being, smiling up at him as you offer him his bracelet back. “Well then, it’s the closet for you and me, Mr. tall, bright and handsome.”You manage to not cringe into yourself at the snort of laughter you manage to pull from one of the other tall beings nearby. Likely the one with the wicked sharp grin. Whatever. You didn’t have to get in a closet with him anyway. You just had to last seven minutes in a closet with the friendliest looking of the three, arguably the friendliest looking in the whole room, and manage to upkeep the facade that you belonged at the party as much as anybody else.“Well,” He placed a hand on his chest, glancing at the other two taller beings with a smile before guiding you to the closet. “I didn’t know I was in the presence of such a flirt! I might just have to teach you some self control while I have you in the closet.”The wink he shoots you combined with his words taking a teasing tone, you know he’s likely joking. You weren’t even flirting, not really, but you’d be lying if you didn’t admit to thinking he was cute. Turning a fake, sly smirk his way, you crossed your arms while entering the closet. “Oh? Well let’s see what you can teach me, oh wise one.”Bad. Very bad. Provoking the very tall being, with who even knew what kind of tools he had at his disposal, was not smart. But you couldn’t help falling prey to his jovial and congenial behavior, even though the area around the man felt like sunshine and smiles, you couldn’t help but feel it wasn’t for you.You weren’t even really provoking him anyway. It was more playful banter that he was visibly more than happy to partake in. Even so, you felt that perhaps you should stop goading him on so much. After all, you don’t even know what he is.Anxiety crept up on you as he stepped into the closet after you, someone closing the door behind him as you caught a glimpse of a smile that looked far more knowing than it had been before he had gotten you alone. Even as the closet was suddenly awash with shadows, you could feel his eyes locked on you the same way a field mouse could probably feel the eyes of an owl in an open field at night. Predator, meet prey.“Hm, it’s awful dark in here. I suppose you can’t see, can you, little human?” That tone of voice was new. Combined with the gloved finger you could feel on your jaw, tilting your face up to what you could only assume would meet his gaze if you could see it, you would almost say he was smug. But that didn’t match how he had acted outside.Your eyes were staticky in the dark, trying valiantly to adjust to the sudden change in lighting. You could only make out the fuzzy shape of his white gloves, being as close to your face as one of them was. You could feel him in the space with you too. The same way one could feel the heat and presence of a person having snuck up behind them despite not really knowing they were there. Your instincts were screaming. Your metaphorical hackles were raised… but you weren’t really quite sure why.He had been nothing but unassumingly pleasant, if not going as far as to say sweet. He certainly exuded sweetness. He seemed the type to easily sweep old ladies off their feet. The type that would have your parents charmed into calling him a son if you took him home to meet them, being called their favorite while brushing you off… Where had that thought come from and why?Nervous laughter escaped you before you could do anything to keep it in. “Ah, my eyes are adjusting.” Seems you’d have to watch your expressions in the closet too. As knowing as he acted, you shouldn’t jump to conclusions and end up getting on any possible dangerous sides of him by letting it slip that his presence was alien to you. “Slowly.”His laugh was light and warm. You hadn’t thought your words funny, but that might have just been the stress of the whole situation finally coming to crash down on you in a closet, of all things. “No need to be so nervous. I don’t bite.” His tone hinted towards humor, and you got the impression that his next words would be about not biting unless asked, but he surprised you again. His hands moving to trace lightly down your arms, raising goosebumps in their wake. “You’ll get to go home tonight, and I can promise no harm to you as long as you can keep up your little act. Slender would just hate to have a mess made on the carpets.”How long had he known it was an act? How many others knew you were pretending? Your anxiety was only slightly mollified by the fact that he has promised you would get home, unharmed if you could play pretend long enough. You thought it was maybe a little stupid of him to promise something like that, but who were you to question him? Especially when he was two times the height of pretty much anyone else you had ever met. Ever. What even was he? Would it be rude to ask? You decided yes, it would be rude, and so kept the question to yourself. Swallowing around the knot in your throat, you allowed his sunshiny aura to wash over you. It had to be fake. The warm, ebb and flow of relaxation that he offered. It didn’t quite feel right to you, but it still did what it felt like it should.“I can practically feel your brain overheating in there. Care to share?” He sounded amused, he hadn’t stopped his idle playing with your arms yet, and you found you didn’t quite care. You supposed, since he was offering conversation, you could get a few questions answered.“What’s uh…” You motioned wordlessly to the air between the two of you before circling your hands more towards him. “This. The warm stuff?”His hands stilled for a moment, wishing you could see his face when he hummed in what sounded like surprise. His hands moved to your own before he answered, just holding. “It’s not often an adult can feel that. It’s to help calm children when I find them wandering around, lost. Some simply wander off and need help finding home, other’s are… less fortunate.”His answer hangs in the air between you, and you feel bad for assuming he had been a bad person. Person? Being? Creature sounded too rude of a label, so one of the other two were likely the best.
“I shouldn’t be ruining the mood with that, now should I? This is a game after all, and I do enjoy a good game every so often.” You could hear a smile creep back into his words as he effortlessly lightened the mood. It likely helped that he could literally do so without much effort, at least you think the aura doesn’t take much effort. “Do you know how to play? I must say I’m not knowledgeable of this game.”You were sure your hesitation to answer became insanely obvious at that. Even though there was a lack of eye contact for you to avoid, you shifted your gaze to the wall as an awkward chuckle forced it’s way out of you. His voice sounded sincere though, so as far as you could tell, he was being honest in not understanding the game. “It’s uh… a kissing game, really. I mean, it’s really more of a making out in sensual fashion kind of game, but it’s really not that serious. It’s not like the laws of the universe dictate the game, you can really do whatever you want when you’re in the closet.”You’re vaguely aware of just how much you’re rambling, unable to stop the stupid slurry of words that fumble out of your mouth until his laughter makes you stop cold. “No need to be so nervous. After all, you did say you can do whatever you want. That means you don’t have to do anything you don’t want.” He was right. You let out a small puff of your own laughter, calming your nerves. “That is to say, I’m not against playing by the rules if you aren’t.”You can hear him shift forward, and though you can’t see well at all, you know his face is right in front of yours. You feel that warmth suddenly surrounding you, making you think of a heated blanket in winter. What the hell, you don’t think this night can get much weirder. It was time to toss yourself down the rabbit hole or whatever, because kissing him wasn’t an unattractive idea. “Fuck it.”You move forward, lips meeting his with more than a little help from him, and are surprised when you feel more than hear a rumbling coming from Splendor. God, is that purring? He fucking purrs, of course he does, why is that hot? Gasping, you involuntarily whine when he pulls you back by your hair. Breathing heavily despite yourself when he speaks lowly next to your ear. “What a dirty mouth. Guess I’ll have to teach you some manners after all.”His lips take yours again before you can even think of something to say in turn, but you get a warm, fluttery feeling deep in your gut at the implications. One of his hands moves to your back, the other staying tangled in your hair as he leans over you. Gasping, you unwittingly let his tongue slip between your teeth as you fall backwards, thankfully braced by the very man that swept you off your feet. He’s doing something despicably clever with the hand he has buried in your hair when you feel something winding around your waist. You squirm, trying to figure out what was going on, but quickly fall still when you receive a nip on your tongue for your troubles. You don’t remain still for long though, as whatevers creeping up your legs makes it far enough to creep under your shirt, making you shiver when something metallic and cold brushes over your stomach. You hear the sound of bells on occasion, leading your imagination to some odd extremes that frankly leave you more confused than anything. His lips leave yours, peppering down your cheek to your neck, and you whine lowly when he finds just the right spot and begins to work on making what you know will be a dark hickey when he’s done. This leaves you with nothing to muffle your yelling when you feel something sharp pinch at your abdomen. It makes your hips twitch away and then quickly towards him when the pain only gets worse after moving away from it. Sharp the intrusion, there was only a dull ache once whatever it had been left you. You weren’t quite sure how you were supposed to be feeling, but your whining and moans that were more aroused than anything else were probably not the most logical thing to allow yourself to do after being injured by a stranger in a closet. He pulls back from you far too quickly for you to follow his movement, but he graciously leaves his hands on you to make sure you find your footing. Gee… what a gentleman. “Careful, can’t have you falling over now, can we. Especially after that delightful lesson I just taught you. Guess I shouldn’t have made that promise after all.” His voice sounds deceptively cheerful, bright and lacks the teasing tone that it felt it should have held. “I do hope you’d like a follow up lesson. One time just never seems to stick, especially with potty mouths like yourself.”You squint, confused about what the hell he could be going on about, but you don’t get a chance to ponder it for very long as the door to the closet swings open, fast and wide, revealing Jeff on the other side.He was looking away at the moment, looking up at the frankly still gorgeous ceiling of the home you found yourself trapped in. “Alright, let’s go. I wanna get this over wi-“ He turns and his eyes pop open widely, shifting between the two of you before his hand raises to point at both you and Splendor. “You. You look… No way.”Splendor moves to leave the closet, having as much grace as he’d had when he entered it. This left you leaning against the back wall of the closet with jelly for legs. “I’ll be the one to help you home, dear. For now, we’ll mingle a bit.” He smiles over his shoulder with aloof naivety that you know for a fact now is a lie. “Would hate for such a wonderful party to go to waste.”
Jeff, having followed the tall being with his eyes until he could no longer, turned back to you before collecting himself just a bit and having the audacity to laugh. Disbelief and some kind of warped joy evident in the way he sounded when he did. “He- really messed you the fuck up! Holy shit!” He’s overly ecstatic in your opinion, only serving to grate on your nerves before his face suddenly falls and he looks horrified. “Oh, fuuuck. Nobody’s gonna believe me.”You huff, finding the bravery to push past him and begin trekking back towards the area where everyone was gathered, but catching yourself in a mirror that hung in the hall made you stop, gasping at your reflection before you decided you had better hunt down a restroom instead.Who knows what would happen, after all, if you let people see you with such messed up hair? The hickey on your neck violently dark and looking spectacularly irritated would be obvious for sure. Though, the really damning piece of evidence that anything impure had happened in the closet was the small blood stains on your shirt from what you could only look back on as bites… even though that made no sense. It wouldn’t do to ruin Splendor’s softy image, now would it? Who knows what kind of lesson that would unleash, after all.

…A padlock.“That would be mine.” The deep voice had been among the three that had interrupted your first attempt at an item, speaking up from behind you, making the small hairs on the back of your neck stand as goosebumps shivered at your arms. You had turned your back to the most dangerous group of individuals the room held, and now you had to get into a closet with one of them. The one with sharp teeth. The one that had those long and thick appendages that had reached past you to steal the bowl, not even a minute ago. Your fight instinct had long since failed you, leaving your instinct to flee in overdrive, even as your legs failed to listen to what your adrenaline filled brain demanded they do.Instead, you could only slowly turn to lock your gaze on the tall man in the doorway. Those sharp teeth on display in a wide smile that had you feeling particularly like prey. Running your eyes up and down his body, you noticed he was a bit more built than the other two. Hearing him snirk as his shoulders hitched, you realized he probably thought you were checking him out, causing your shoulders to cringe upwards as you ripped your eyes away to look at the floor.“I’ll take that back, little mouse.” You nearly scream as he literally appears next to you. Across the room one moment, next to you, towering over you, the next. His hand open for you to place his property in. He’s terrifying, up close like this. You had to get in a closet with him. “And then it’s to the closet for us.”
Spoken as if he had read your mind and had timed it perfectly with your own mortified revelations. You could only let your breath puff slowly out through your nose, letting the tension leave your frame as you tried to settle yourself back into your pretended calm. These people need to keep thinking you belong here, you can’t act like this. “Aha, sorry. You scared me, popping up like that.”He laughed, placing a hand on your shoulder, and holy shit it was a big hand, and guiding you to the closet. “You’re gonna be fun. I can tell.”Your brain couldn’t come up with a response quickly enough for it to matter, finding yourself stepping into a closet that was a decent ways away from the main room everyone else was in. Music was still playing, though at a much more reasonable volume, and you could only assume it was because the tall beings had interrupted the party. You turned to watch the tall being maneuver his way through the doorway, shocked to see that he actually fit quite well in the small space. Of course he had to sit, leaving you standing between his legs, and you found you had to fight the thoughts you had of him grabbing you and dragging you to him.Fucking hell. Yeah, he’s hot, but you need to get it together. At least, that’s what you think to yourself as you glance at the door and watch as Jane closes it with a reminder that the timer starts after the lock on the door clicks, and then you were in the dark. With a tall, dark and potentially dangerous man.“Well, I s’pose an introduction would be polite.” The small space quickly filled with the scent of cigar smoke and a wonderfully expensive smelling cologne. Was that him? He smelled delicious. Could a man smell delicious? “The name’s Fen. Thanks for all the compliments, little mouse.”
Compliments? You hadn’t even said anything yet. There’s no way you have so little of a brain to mouth filter that you’ve been saying everything out loud, right? “Um… aha. Nice name? Mine is-““Y/n? Yeah, I know.” You could only freeze, panic trying to make you run, fight, something other than just stand there as he spoke so nonchalantly. “Ol’ Slendy told me already. He dug around in your brain when we crashed the party, I’m sure you could feel it. I know you felt it, in fact. Nobody’s ever not felt him. Course, they typically don’t know what it is.”What did one even say to that? You definitely couldn’t lie, not at this point anyway. Fen seemed to already know everything about you, and he was implying the blank slate of a face out there had read your mind and had even gone digging around while in there. You should probably feel a little more than violated, but with a far more real and close threat that was literally locked in the closet with you… well. Perhaps you should have turned down playing when Jane had given you the offer…“Chill out, I ain’t gonna eatcha…. Though you are rather tempting. Seven minutes ain’t enough for the heavy stuff.” The teasing was laid on heavy, and you could oddly feel yourself relaxing, even as multiple somethings wrapped their way around your waist, arms and legs. Those tendril things, maybe? “Course, I won’t play with ya if you don’t wanna be played with. I ain’t a monster. You’re free to go home, anytime.”Well, might as well jump in head first right? Take the dive and have some fun. That’s why you were even here in the first place. You followed a dog all the way out here, and while most people would have probably turned tail and walked the opposite direction, you had followed and now you were in a closet with something out of this world. “Well… It can’t hurt, can it? As long as you’re sure I can go home.”“Yeah. Slender ain’t got time to make anymore proxies, Splendor doesn’t take in just anyone and I’m not in the market for that kinda stuff. You’ll be going home, don’t you worry that pretty head of yours.” One of his large hands moves to ruffle your hair, making him laugh as you huff, clearly annoyed at how he made a mess of your hair. “So, now that’s out of the way, why’re ya all the way over there? C’mere, little mouse.”The tendrils tightened, but you weren’t pulled to him. You moved on your own, moving closer until you could place your hands against his chest, looking up at him in the dark of the closet. The only light managing to sneak in beneath the door, and it didn’t help you much. Course, you didn’t need to see to enjoy the way he touched you.One hand grabbing your waist as the other had claws that grazed gently under your jaw, goosebumps raising all over again and making you shiver. You couldn’t very well see, but you could practically feel his face move closer to yours. His voice seemed to fill the closet, deep and rumbly and attractive in ways you hadn’t known existed until now. Were you going to kiss him? Were you really going to do this with him? He may just be the hottest piece of ass you had ever laid eyes on, but he wasn’t human. Oh god, are you a monster fucker? Oh, you think you’re a monster fucker.
He laughs, a dark and knowing chuckle that you feel vibrate your insides. “You might be. Course, you aren’t quite yet. We’ll see how this plays out, ‘kay?”You definitely hadn’t said those thoughts out loud, but you don’t get a chance to speak that before he’s lifting you up and your lips are on his. You don’t have much of a mind left to notice your legs straddling him as you become absorbed with the kiss. Those dangerously sharp teeth just barely becoming involved in all the wrong ways, but he had a startling mastery of making sure you didn’t get hurt. That made the kiss no less breath taking or firm though.A rumbly purring sound vibrated deep in his chest, revving right between your legs and making you gasp at the sudden pleasure you received from just that, allowing his tongue to sneak in and explore your mouth. Fingers curling around the edges of his jacket, feeling like you were holding on for dear life as your legs clamped down on his sides. His tongue was foreign against yours, but no less of a tongue than you’d expect, you would almost say it was made differently. No matter, the contact had that wet heat settling between your hips as your face grew hot. You couldn’t find it in yourself to be ashamed when your hips began to move, grinding against him as you moan into his mouth. He pulls away, deep laughter quiet between you but practically echoing in the dark room. You move to follow him, eyes half lidded with a brain full of fog, but his hands on your waist keep you where you are and you could swear you felt his amused gaze locked on you like a nocturnal predator. Cat, meet mouse. “Woah there, babe. Getting a little carried away there, not that I’m complaining.”“You… would make an excellent ride.” Your response is far more breathy than you’d like it to be, especially considering he seems no worse for wear. His answer to your comment on his kissing performance is laughter, much louder than you had expected, and if not for the loud music you could hear from outside the closet you would be sure everyone would hear him. “If I get out of hand, you could just say so. I’m just kinda… going with whatever at this point. You. Are so unexpected.”His hands begin moving, feeling you up as he hums in what sounds like consideration. You could almost forget the closet door would come flying open any minute now with the way his hands touch you, keeping the warm need rolling in your hips. Shivers running up your spine as one hand rubs circles into your hip, the other tilting your chin up, allowing him to move in and ghost kisses along your pulse. “Unexpected, you say?” Murmured between kisses, his breath fanning hot on your neck and making goosebumps raise pleasantly. “I hope that’s a good thing.”
It’s your turn to laugh, your arms moving over his shoulders and closing the space between you. Chest to chest, his face is still buried in your neck with no signs of moving anytime soon. You sigh, contentment allowing you to capitulate your praises. “No doubt, Fen. You are very good.”Gasping, you finally knock his stupid hat off as your hand moves to his head, hoping to keep his lips on your neck. He had found what he had apparently been looking for. Those sharp teeth just barely grazing over your soft, vulnerable flesh in an effort to leave his mark. You were sure he wouldn’t have to work too hard. Not even his hand on your hips can stop you from grinding against him now, and you found yourself struggling to keep quiet with your rising lusty needs. You could hardly remember the last time you felt like this in a mans arms, you couldn’t say you’d ever felt like this before at all. Your nails scratching at his neck, innate and carnal in your efforts to keep his lips locked on your neck. The closet was suddenly hot. Very hot. The delicious scent of his cologne mixed with cigars and leather was intoxicating, making you melt even more. Where had this libido been when you were a regular party goer? Apparently it had been right here, in this ridiculously tall mans lap.God… he’s definitely a daddy type. Certainly earned it, now hasn’t he?His lips are suddenly not working at your neck anymore, and it’s a moment before an amused sounding puff of breath hits your neck. “Daddy, huh?”You only get a moment to think about what he said, your lust hazed mind not quite able to grasp his meaning before the closet is suddenly flooded with light. Oh fuck… you were still on top of him. That was putting it lightly, actually. You know exactly what it looked like, but you couldn’t find it in yourself to hate that you’d been caught in the middle of some near action.“Yeah, okay… At least your clothes are still on.” It’s Jane, her voice sounds exhausted as she glances behind her. “We started a second closet and… I’m not sure what’s going on in there, but we’re afraid to open it.”You had all but scrambled to get up while she looked away, smoothing out your shirt and feeling for anything that was wildly out of place. You didn’t miss Fen’s amused questioning in your panic though. “Well, who’s in it?”Jane’s attention is back on Fen as soon as he speaks, arms crossing as she cocks one of her hips to the side. “Wouldn’t you like to know. I think I’ll leave that surprise for later. Now come on, I’m eager to get this over with at this point. Nobody’s gotten the boss yet and the tension is killing the boys.”You watch the gothic woman walk away, her heels clicking mutely on the marbled floor, just barely perceptible under the music that was now much clearer without a door in the way. A clawed finger tilting your head back has your attention moving to Fen, who you find giving you the slyest smile you’ve seen to date. Cat, meet mouse once again.“Let’s stick around for the drama, yeah? Then I can take you home.” You smile, nodding up at him. It would be best to ride out the party to a natural leaving time. There was too much going on right now, and while it wasn’t likely you’d be missed if you disappeared, it wasn’t normal party behavior. “And maybe later, we can see how long it takes to make you call me daddy, yeah?”And in your shock, he moves. The deep, rumbling purr making you feel all types of good ways as he leaves you standing shocked in front of the closet. Well… at least you were right about the daddy thing.
